Hysun Chairman Sales Center: A Blend of History and Modernity

Unveiling Huang Quan's Award-Winning Design Inspired by Chinese Renaissance

Immerse yourself in the world of Huang Quan's design for the Hysun Chairman Sales Center, a real estate exhibition space that beautifully merges history with modernity, reflecting the bimillennial history of China and the New Culture Movement.

The Hysun Chairman Sales Center, located at the intersection of Guomao Road and Shanghai South Station, is a testament to the innovative design approach of Huang Quan. The center, which spans an area of 1200 square meters, is not just a space for selling properties but also a symbol of urban culture and a nod to the city's rich history.

Quan's design inspiration stems from the New Culture Movement, often referred to as the Chinese Renaissance, which thrived in Beijing and Shanghai after the 5/4 Movement. The movement's early backbones, including Hu Shi, Lu Xun, Qian Xuantong, and Liu Bannong, may have revolted in Peking University, but their cultural source was originally from Shanghai. This historical reference is intricately woven into the design of the Hysun Chairman Sales Center.

What sets this design apart is its unique blend of 'Hai Style' Eastern elements with modern aesthetics. The center, adorned with marble, wood finishing, mirror, glass, metal, painting, wallpaper, ceramic, carpet, and cu-cloth, exudes a sense of openness and diverse lyricalness. It is a tangible representation of the city's past, present, and future.

The Hysun Chairman Sales Center is more than just a property sales and exhibition space. It serves as a cultural hub, a place where customers can access all information about the property while also immersing themselves in the city's history and culture. This innovative approach to design has earned Huang Quan the prestigious Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2017.

Quan's design for the Hysun Chairman Sales Center is a testament to the power of design in shaping our understanding of history and culture. It is a reminder that design is not just about aesthetics but also about storytelling and creating meaningful experiences.
